I have a 2023 Glad gas job/ auto trans. I always check for any kind of leaks, also check fluid levels . Today after a 150 mile run , when I parked the glad ,I noticed water dripping from underneath the engine compartment about half way back. I moved the truck and it was plain water. When I moved the truck I noticed it dripping again but not as much. I checked all the fluid levels , and everything was OK. I went up the road to a tackle store and it was not dripping. I drove for another 10 Miles to my place and no water dripping. Now I did have the heater on set to 72 drgrees in the am, then turned it off. I didn't have the ac on.I did drive through heavy fog this morning , it was so bad I had to turn the intermitten wiper on, plus a light rain for about 20 min. All this before my first stop. Anybody might have an idea. It never dripped before since I got the Jeep. Thanks

First vehicle? That’s what happens when you use the AC, especially on a humid day.
Hi, I didn't have the ac on, it wasn't on auto either. Temp during the trip was 65 avg. I just had the heat on set at 72 Degree. I don't think I hit the ac/ or auto button by mistake, Not saying I didn't . ac light never came on till I checked it after leak. No not my first, I know about ac, that's what got me wondering what water was from. I will keep an eye out for it. I'm getting the oil and filter changed next Saturday, I'll ask them to check it. Thanks.

I've noticed these actually may run the AC to dehumidify, for defogging, and possible other reasons. When AC on a modern vehicle is off, it's not always necessarily off as like in the 1970s.

Take a look to see if you can tell exactly what's above it - straight up, if possible.
Some have noted water from the weep holes in the exhaust (typically muffler areas) and have never noticed it before (newer drivers? Never paid attention? Older vehicles that didn't have the catalytic converters these have which put out WATER and CO2), who knows - but it's interesting when someone asks "what's this hole here, should I plug it" or "why is there water dripping out of here" and it's the weep hole in the muffler.

Anyway- could still be related to AC, or exhaust.
Also - fog can condense on parts and later run down in weird places.
You talked of rain - there's drains in the windshield frame, the cowl area, and other places, where water is deliberately channeled down and away from the engine bay or cabin area. There's a lot of hidden water paths, drains, engineered into vehicles over the decades.

I misread that part. But your AC was probably running while you had the heat up. Set it exactly how you had it and switch to the climate screen and you’ll see the indicator light on the AC button lit up.

Thank's all. Shadowspapa, I bet I did hit the auto button by mistake, It's right below the heat. But I did have the heat turned off when aI stopped, so I think. But your idea is probably what happened. I do remember getting some air out the dash vents like the ac was on, but then again no ac light was on. Also it was where the water drains when I do have the ac on. I did check the engine the best I could and found no water near the hoses .But what both you have said makes sence. Thanks

Plain water dripping can only be from either rain drains finding their way down, or the ac being activated by even just the defroster running, or air recycle system on. I’ve never noticed if my ac button light is on when using the defroster.

Had to read that twice - wondered if you were into some sort of potions using fRog juice.
Then I saw - oh, FOG, not FROG.
