Ways to store a portable compressor in Gladiator Bed

Hello Folks, How are you folks with portable air compressors storing them in the truck bed?...I've had mine behind the passenger seat on the floor for a few months but would prefer to Keep in in the bed for additional safety and space in the cab...I have the trail rail system, but to me the issue is that it is good but generally too high up for many things that need to be stored back there (need more lower anchor points besides the 4 corners.)...I'm sure I can figure something out but like most of the thigs I have on the bed floor it most often looks kinda "klugey" .

Any suggestions appreciated in advance,

How about Military ammo cans. They come in a variety of sizes, sturdy, are weather tight if the lid seal is good, you can get a locking kit for them to attach a padlock. Get one tall enough to reach the rail, drill a couple holes at rail height and bolt from the inside.

Decked and 813 show a variety of offerings I'll be spending some time on both sights...That ammo can idea is a creative solution too.

I bought the ARB portable and modified.
- Mounted to trail rail
- Pelican case
- Stainless mount with rubber grommets absorbing vibration
- Expedition essential harness.
- Can move and have as needed

Case is floating. Attached at trail rail. Bottom and top added some neoprene to prevent any longterm rubbing.
