Truly appreciate it. We are currently releasing our Ecuador content although we have made it to Peru and our rig is currently in Lima, Peru. But we have flown back to the states to visit family and friends for 3 months and do Christmas with family. It is refreshing to be back for a short stint. We're currently in the Disney World area for the next 3 weeks. So you can imagine that Caspian is really excited. We just got here today. ~ Eric

People often tell us, "You are living my dream! I can't believe you get to overland around the world full-time!" I think people often think that we are on some sort of permanent vacation, and this couldn't be further from the truth. This is just life lived a different way than most. And overall it is an incredible journey.

But this type of journey is not without its challenges. Sometimes the challenges presented are compounded greatly by the distance from "home."

This video is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. This BY FAR is the hardest video I've ever had to edit or publish. The emotions are real and raw in this one. I hope you get a chance to watch this one and reflect on what it means to deal with this kind of stuff from a continent away.

I talk about this around minute 5:45 of this video. But essentially it is required by Peru of passenger vehicles. It is not required of foreign plated vehicles like ours which are on at temporary import permit, but if you are a passenger vehicle and you don't have it on there, it attracts the police attention to your vehicle. So for $9 of tape we just decided to put it on there. Great question. ~ Eric
