After modifications and repeated attempts, our Tube door looks like this.
Since the Pu mold can only be produced in March, we temporarily found four Pu tubes and placed them on the door.
It looks pretty sketchy now, and the final Pu will have a concise ending.
In the initial concept, I hoped that SD1 would use laser welding, but we searched all nearby factories and no one could meet our requirements, so we could only use traditional GMAW.
We require the factory to polish the outer welds smoothly and make fish-scale welds inside, so that both beauty and strength can be taken into consideration.
There are still some details waiting to be optimized.
Since the Chinese New Year is coming soon and the factories are on holiday, we have no choice but to continue production in early March.

Lol, yeah don't worry about that, we won't be using this rope...
We place PU on the armrest to solve the problem of arm burns.
I searched for the cord you mentioned, and it does seem much more comfortable, but I think it may not solve the problem of sweat absorption?

Consider welding a small threaded sleeve to your frame
to accept scooter or motorcycle mirrors.
Offer an inexpensive mirror for one stop shopping.
I do not think any competitors are doing that.

Tube doors for Gladiators is a thin market slice
that is thickly crowded with established competition.
At least with a name like Exceed Fabrication
opportunities are wide open for additional products.
Play to your strength.

As far as I know, there are already many similar products on Amazon, only selling for about $30.

add a small hinge style hole on the door to mount a side mirror. Your doors won’t be used just off road. Could be a simple 25$ or something add on/option when ordering a door from you. It also opens the door(lol) for you to sell a mirror with your door that fits.

Regarding your thoughts, I have a few points to explain to you.
1. Our tube doors are equipped with a rearview mirror as standard. This is a rearview mirror you can buy on Amazon. I saw someone else selling it. It has a wide field of view, a stable structure, and a little convex lens effect.
We tested it many times in a variety of environments, and we thought it was adequate for off-road needs, so we didn't bother designing another rearview mirror.
After all, all development costs will be grafted on consumers, and we don’t want to ‘reinvent the wheel’
Maybe we will sell this rearview mirror separately on the website as a replacement accessory, but this is not our main source of profit, it is just for the convenience of customers.
2. We do not think that any tube door can be used on the road. I know that some states have regulations and restrictions on this. If you install a tube door on the road, you may be stopped by the traffic police.
In addition to this, even the tube doors of Mopar and many big brands will indicate on the official website that 'for off-road use only, everyone must wear seat belts'
Because the original door fits closely with the body frame, it can remain stable in an accident. At least it has been rigorously tested by Jeep. Even if some people say that the safety rating of the Gladiator is not high, I think no door is safer than the original door.
All tube doors you can buy are only connected to the truck body by two hinges and a latch, and can become dangerous projectiles in any high-speed crash on the road, no matter what brand it is from.
The reason we equip our tube doors with mirror is because we think mirrors can also be helpful off-road, but we do not intend to lead any customers into using tubedoors on public roads, especially motorways.
3. No matter which brand you choose in the end, Tube doors are just a toy used to add off-road fun and give your wife a little sense of security when riding doorless.
I believe that the structural solidity of our tube doors is no less than that of other brands.
But like I said at the beginning, the way it is fixed is not very strong, don't abuse it

Our tube door is still modifying the last details. We got the laser-engraved stainless steel logo, which will be screwed on the inside of the tube door with the rearview mirror screws.
Of course, you can also choose not to install it, which will not affect the use of the tube door, and there will not be any logo on the door.
As we promised at the beginning, our logo will be placed in a hidden position, install it or not, rather than trying to turn any jt into our billboard
