It's a limited slip differential which distributes power equally to both the right and left tires. The '64 Skylark had a regular differential, which, anyone who's been stuck in the mud in Alabama knows, you step on the gas, one tire spins, the other tire does nothing.
My cousin... Vinny, how you doing?

I just cannot build a Mojave for what this lot is asking for the one I was looking at.
$45k it has remote start, cloth seats (I want these) tow package and hard top. The only things I would add would be heated seats. I would probably try and find a used soft top down the road.
To be honest if I was ordering one now I would only add heated seats to that one and maybe little things like engine block heater and/or auto transfer case. Neither of those are really deal breakers for me though.

If I build it like this:
Sting-Gray
premium black sunrider soft top
Remote Proximity
Automatic Transmission (I would get manual and save a few bucks but payload sufffers too much)
Cold Weather Group
Tow package
$50,910
I bought my Mojave off the lot. It's the "base" Mojave with the only upgrades being a hardtop and the tow package. The price was right and I building a Max Tow the way I wanted would have put me very close to what I paid for the Mojave. There were a few colors that I wouldn't have bought, but am perfectly happy with the white and plan on keeping this Jeep a LONG time. So, if you see one on the lot that you like...I say go for it!

FYI...I also tow a small trailer and use a bed mounted RTT at times, so I don't think you'll have any issues with payload, etc.

To be honest, I have waited for a long time and I just am not sure I could wait any further. lol
I also plan on paying cash im sure that will effect things. I was looking into seeing if a dealer could snag a truck from another dealer (maybe in another state I couldnt drive to) but I dunno.
I ordered mine from Gupton Motors (Daniel) and it should be to the dealership in about 2-3 weeks. Really only takes about 8 weeks to save a BUNCH of money. Your choice.

C'mon man, five hours is an easy road trip! You DID say you weren't old, right?? :);)

Some nice 2 lane roads to bring it home is a great way to break it in and get to know it.

I'm in Oklahoma and am about to order from him. It's a 10-11 hour drive for me, and a flight out to get there!

Oh I agree.
Just difficult with kids and all that.
Also, what's the deal with that place? Just epic savings or?
