What is the super secret trick to disconnecting the “locking” wiring harness plugs? I use a tool to move the little white “locking” tab up and push down on the tab and for the life of me, the connectors will not separate.

In this case, I am trying to remove the rear sensors from the back bumper harness. Similar deal I had with the rear license plate lights and wound up cracking that connector.

I’ve never had harness connector issue every before until now. Is there some super secret code to do this on the Gladiator?

You need to pull back on the white tab then push down on the black pics above it

Yep. So simple ....Right? Have done exactly as described.

I tried 3 of the 4 including the main harness connection and they don’t budge.

Trying to avoid breaking a connector.

Someone is telling me to stop messing with my sensors. 😁

How far out should white tab come out? This is how far I can push tab up.

Having broken one on license plate lights has me thinking twice now.

Talk about making something so simple complicated.

Dust is the enemy for connectors like that. Still don't know if it's a good idea to use dielectric grease, but I've been doing that for a long time and it hasn't bit me yet.
