Speaker upgrade what’s the best

I’m getting to the whole speaker up grade and would like some input on what way to go …..I have the stock 7” non-amplified Jeep junk .
I’m planning on changing all 6 speakers and adding a couple of amps and a dsp
My big hang ups are do I really need marine grade equipment? And what brand to go with ? I have had 3 quotes with one being JL audio another being Ground Zero and the last being kicker ….
Any insight would be a great help especially with the GZ speakers

This is what I used when I did my wife’s JLU. She had the 5” screen, I upgraded to the 7” screen and added these speakers. You have to buy 2 of the 6.5” and everything else comes in pairs. You can crank it up without distortion with ease, and had I been adventurous enough to add an amp I’m sure it would be even better. The best is subjective, but that’s what I used. I’d love to get a sub in there too, but at the same time I’m trying to get her to trade her 18 JLU sport for a 24 JLUR so not pushing the sub issue much anymore.

I put Memphis in everything except sub box. I use Skar for the sub box and speakers and amps. I used a pac amp pro ch41 and kept the 7" radio interface.

JL Audio is my preferred brand for speakers and amps.

I don't think you need marine. Unless you frequently leave the top off in the rain or do deep water crossings.
