You buy the bulbs. If they work you keep them, if not you return them. Its 10 minutes of your time.I do not agree with him on his advice about LED bulbs in halogen housings. There is a HUGE difference in quality and design among LED bulbs, and buying cheap junk from eBay or Amazon is the fastest way to get bad results, blind oncoming traffic, and generally just waste money.
And again, I'm only advising to do this on HIGH beams. So you won't be blinding anyone.
In my Volvo, the high beams throw light all over the place. But there is easily 4x as much light as my prior H9 bulbs. So that fact that maybe 40% of the light is wasted is more than made up for with these bulbs. And they still draw less than the original H9 incandescent bulbs.
but either way, its a crap shoot. So if its no good, you return them.
