I know we are talking stock Sport trim level here, however, check this video out of (2) Rubicons, (1) is stock and the other has 2” of lift running 37’s.
At 7mins in you can see the belly rub on Brads (stock) Rubicon.
This trail didn’t look too difficult but it is likely more difficult of a trail then the OP desires.
Either way, Sport/Overland/Rubicon this (long wheel base) is something to consider and that really goes with any pickup truck of a similar length.
A lot of folks are comparing Wranglers to JT’s off-road and you should note there are some differences, HOWEVER, much like the Wrangler platform though each trim level is more than capable off-road.
Just be smart if your running stock wheels/tires and no lift with any trim level.
The stock Sport sounds like the OP wouldn’t have an issue. Should be good to go for what the OP wishes to tackle.
Again I personally think the JT in stock form any trim level is much more capable than any average/above average pickup. It’s a GREAT vehicle and VERY capable!
