I just finished up doing my fuel filler mod on the diesel.
(Ref thread: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/fill-neck-mod.37006/)
The plastic insert broke and only comes as an assembly with the fuel filler neck. ($180 part )

Someone on the thread linked the Wrangler equivalent and it appears the plastic insert is the same. Part number 52030401AB at a more reasonable price of $90. Do you have this in stock?

YES, unfortunately that is the piece that breaks when you press it out. Doesn't make sense that they would part it out in the schematic but not offer it for purchase....maybe because it only inserts once and you should NEVER remove it. I'll devise a work around eventually. Thanks for the clarification.
