What information is that site collecting when you visit it, then insert your VIN?
All free sites have their own information gathering schemes. They can't exist without income.

Have you tried your other vehicles?

Why would I say that?

Cats tell me it's bed time. Wife is at 3 day quilting retreat. I am left to deal with the children.

According to the Mustang forums, Ford also does the same thing with their FordPass app. However, even if you do not subscribe to the FordPass app, the car has an on-board modem that will phone home occasionally. I have a '22 Mach 1 that I have not driven a lot yet. I once saw on the entertainment screen that the Mach 1 was uploading information. It is suggested on the forums that Ford sells the information to insurance companies and the like. One forum member went through a convoluted process to unsubscribe from the whole process. I occasionally take a spirited drive so I need to find and pull the fuse that runs the modem.....and leave it that way.

So basically the same. Insurance? Silent but I have a feeling it makes its way.
Biometrics could only be collected if you use it to unlock your UCONNECT app. The vehicle doesn't have any (at least not that I'm aware of. Dang it, dude, now I have to go check my steering wheel for fingerprint sensors and see if the UCONNECT radio recognizes my face.

LOL - check the ECUs in that thing. The highest speed is likely recorded along with other metrics of driving.
I know one guy who's ass was saved because it was a he said, he said situation in an accident at an intersection. The other party accused him of not braking or slowing, etc. His attorney got the information saved in one of the ECUs proving what happened. It's out there on a GM forum in response to people griping about the information saved in "modern vehicles" - this was from about 10 years ago. (I remember it was that long because I read it while at work HAHA)

MAP Voltage: 3.20 V

I have another snippet that shows the compass "raw direction" as North.

I hear you about the ECU. It is always there and has current information on it. I just don't like my driving habits relayed back to the manufacturer who then sells that info to the insurance companies on a regular basis. I don't drive like a nutcase, however there are times where I may do 65MPH in a 55MPH speed zone!

Man, an I in trouble.

I get it when information is shared with or sold to certain entities. Fine, targeted marketing - companies that sell Jeep stuff send us offers. I get that. (often it comes from PUBLIC RECORDS, though - your vehicle's registration is on file and those files are found by marketing companies. In 2 weeks after buying our Wrangler, we were getting mail and email targeting Wrangler owners)
Affiliates, service providers, yeah, annoying, irritating, but it's worked that way since forever. But insurance companies, government, certain other groups - they can mind their own business.
