I am very curious about something. Some people with the Pentastar tick get it repaired and some have to get a new engine. I don’t understand where the line is. I know people who’ve completely rebuilt the top end of the motor and drive another 200K miles, and other don’t even need cams and they are getting a new engine. As someone who may have to pay for their repairs out of their own pocket, can y’all help me understand what goes in to this decision? It would be helpful to have this information as I decide what I am going to do. Thanks.
