Annoying. Try doing the wiring harness. Super easy and you can do it without pulling the light.

There is a connection right behind the rectangular plastic thing where the wire comes out of the bed below the tailgate. It’s one part that replaces all the wiring in the tailgate. It’s super easy as it only goes to the camera and taillight. Ask @AllMoparParts.com. I ordered it from them. I’ve had zero problems in 2 years.

You'll be happy to know that mine has been installed since Oct 2022 and it has performed flawlessly. I have not found that the logo imprint has caused any issues at all.

I did find it a bit distressing that the cup holders are really only sized for an aluminum can or bottle. Sure wish it was a proper cup holder size.

I opted to modify one of the cup holders to turn into the base for my Dometic Go Water Pump by flipping the cup over, trimming off the lip and attaching the base to the bottom

Now that I am back from my Summer Sojourn and everything that I broke during the trip has been repaired (mostly), it's time to get started on some mods that I was delaying until we returned.

I've been planning to expand my House Battery capacity from 100aH to 200aH. I couldn't find a dual battery box with the correct footprint for the space available so I wound up using two singles:

A little bit of wiring for parallel batteries and an RJ45 cable so they can talk to the controller:

I still need to do some cable management so it won't look like a bird's nest, but this pic was right after I tested it out.

I had to modify the two separate box lids in order to make 1 box lid and it all worked out pretty decent:
