I lived in Nashville for 32 years. In 2017, before the pandemic, we moved to a small town half way between Nashville and Chattanooga. I continued to commute 75 miles each way to Nashville for two years. I have to say that it was the unhappiest two years of my life. Now I work 5 miles from the house. I make less money but my time is mine. It was the best decision I ever made.

I am waiting on tires so I can get these bad boys mounted up.

Install the powertanks rapid deflate or Apex designsusa rapid deflate valve stems. Having 2 valve stems per wheel is awesome.

What I do is take fresh oil and and oil that little o-ring on ths bottom of the filter and on top of the filter I wipe oil down in the hole and on the piece in the cap that goes down into the filter. 113,000 never had one twist and I have used Wix oil filters except 2 times I used Amsoil high dollar filters. Change at 50% and then when it is around 10% and also the oil.

@WILDHOBO I have made up my mind that my Wheel Bearing hub assemblies are next on the list for me.

I've done something similar with Fram, Mopar, and M1 filters and all three still twist to varying degrees, but sometimes not much.

It doesn't worry me, though. The UOA's I've done have always indicated good filtration, especially with the Fram Ultras filters.

5% tint installed. Amazing what some tint does for the look of the vehicle. I went in for regular tint. Then they offered me ceramic plus clear ceramic on windshield for $500. Couldn't pass it up for just $200 more.

Also installed my HotHeads headliners. I added the side panels and Sound Assassin. I noticed this Gladiator has been way colder in the morning and slower to warm up inside than my Wrangler. It was because it didn't have the Armorlite flooring or headliners. Both will make a huge difference in sound and noise plus acoustics. Armorlite flooring goes in this weekend.

Tennessee is pretty relaxed, but tint on the windshield will get you pulled over fast!

Exactly. 115 degrees and parked outside. I don't care if it's legal or not. The sun here is intense even in the winter.
And to add, you also get about 900 days a year of sunshine.

I moved here in July and have seen it rain once for about 5 minutes. I love it though. The winter here has been amazing.
Visited St. George for the first time last september. Holy hell, you the sun beating down on you from above the asphalt hitting you for the ground up. But within a 30min to hour drive, the temp seem to have dropped 20* F and it's beautiful. I have half a mind to move there but am too rooted here financially and family to move anytime soon. I hear the area is growing rapidly.

Both my parents passed away 49 days apart last year and I decided to start over in southern Utah. You can escape the heat for sure. 20-30 degrees cooler about 30 minutes away and 50 degrees cooler an hour away. Can see snow and not have to shovel it in the winter. I'm from Dallas and used to heat , but with humidity. I will never go anywhere with humidity ever again. I don't miss the hail and tornadoes. I love the desert.

My thoughts are I can be in the cooler elevation on the weekend. Weekdays, I'll be working indoors anyway. For now, it's just a day dream lol.

Not confirmed yet, but almost certainly broke my rear driver side axle shaft. Today on The Maze in sand hollow. Oops. But first time a trail break prevented me from wheeling the next day, probably. I still have hope. Found shafts, but haven’t confirmed that’s all that’s broken. Hopeful because rear locker still worked, the ring and pinion are ok. I was able to limp off the trail under my three wheel drive and lots of winching. But no trailer. :)

Steadily getting all my recovery gear installed on my bed molle and roof racks. Sherpa Sunlight rack holds an ARB 2500 tent awning, KickAss shower awning, Yakima 7 gallon RoadShower and Maxtrax on QD rack. On the top of the RSI EcoA Smarcap are Forerunner rails with my Hi-Lift jack. In the bed I still have to mount my fridge slider (last item).

Onyx6+ light bar (bumper mount installed under hoop) and GRIMM winch plate still on backorder, so those will have to wait. Also, awaiting the White Knuckle Offroad sliders. WARN VR EVO 10s sitting in the box waiting.

Off to "work" in Africa for a few months. Dreaming of Florida scrub trails and Maine mountain trips will keep me motivated to get back safely.
