Installed front and rear door DV8 pockets ( I left the nets in). A terrific improvement over the weird stretchy nets.
Also installed the CLAMBER Overhead Panel. Radios to come later. I was ready to purchase the Epic overhead rack, but didn't like the idea of drilling holes. And with the added shipping and tariffs, it was over $400. The Clamber utilizes the stock holes front and rear (no drilling) for $80.00. It also has slots that will work for RAM track balls.

The way it looks, will that overhead panel work with either no freedom panels, or the sunrider? It looks like it just might.

I can look, but feel free to call and I’ll just walk you through it. I’ve since done it on a friends gladiator as well. Zero issues.

Thefreedom panels come on and off, no problem. I had them off to install the rack. I don't know about the Sunrider.

This instruction set mentions also taking out the transmission cross member nuts before jacking the engine up.
Any thoughts on this horrible step? I hoped I wouldn’t need to, but it’s square in the way. I’ve got the bolt out that holds it to the engine (2), but don’t know the safe way to remove the tube from the block.

Materials needed?
Solder heat shrink connectors, 18awg wire; various sizes of heat shrink tubing, wire loom, and medium sized balls. And some zip ties.

Got it out. Gently with an only pry bar to get it just barely started, then super gentle with hands only wiggling and upward pressure.

Just go slow and be patient. Mine is the cast iron knuckle, so I used oil to cool the cut as I went. Couldn’t for the life of me find my machine oil, so I used gear oil. :) It took me an hour to drill it, but went slowly and no issues with broken bits. Slow speed with pressure. If it binds, stop immediately and reverse the bit to smooth the spot you’re caught on. If it starts to smoke, you need more oil.
Thanks for that info, mine should be cast iron too, as I have the JTRD and they are coated in black enamel.

Steersmarts drag link, tie rod and stabilizer relocation bracket. I'll admit I did not read enough when I ordered the tie rod and totally missed I would need to relocated the steering stabilizer. I found that out when I went to install it. I made the axle side mount myself out of some scrap square tube. Fun project.
