Thanks very much. I’d been thinking about the idea for a bit, but it was an undertaking. Especially since I’m a terrible welder. So there was lots of grinding and rewelding. I attached the ears with three fine thread grade 8 1/2” bolts, so the connection is quite strong. And all end caps are 1/4” steel. Lots and lots of work, but I’m happy with it.

Today I wired the amber halos on the driving lights mounted in my front bumper to my front turn signal lights. Much brighter than the stock lights in the fenders. I like it.

Finally had a minute to toss in the new Foxbox speaker box and new sub. The box is super solid and the subwoofer absolutely pounds. No one believes it's a single 10" sub outputting that much bass.

The subwoofer is a Sundown Audio E-10 V.3 dual 2 ohm. It's running at 1 ohm and is temporarily powered by a Sundown Audio SAE 1000D amp (rather large amp so swapping with a Rockford Fosgate Power 750).

P.S. Ignore the speaker wire, it will be properly hidden when the new amp arrives.

Wonder if this would fit under the JLU rear seats?????

After about 2 years, 4 badges and 24,000 miles I found some chunks missing in my tread of my Toyo AT3s:

Reached out to @Discount Tire since they were so easy to work with the last time and picked up a set of Toyo RT Trails. Since they were able to give me a warranty credit for the AT3s I couldn’t pass it up.

The urge was seriously there to jump from 35’s to 37’s but it’s still a rabbit hole I’m not willing to go down……..yet.

Please give some feed back on those after you have had them on for a bit! I have been interested in those.

So far I'm having an issue with getting the header adjusted to be free of a gap. With the front open though, it is great! I like that it is very easy to pop open and closed from the driver's seat. Top is not very noisy at freeway speeds open, and I like the added visibility from the larger rear window.

I'll be calling cust support tonight to get the adjustment issue sorted.

Stupid me ;-) took a loooot of time to center the decal , and I was pretty proud of myself and something happened ( I think I didn’t wait long enough ) and 2 stars were completely ruined … so … no decal for now I have to reorder one …

It’s the easiest way to get rid of all those carton and paper from Jeep parts packaging ? and it makes the young nephew happy . So yeah maybe it’s not super eco friendly … but I guess it’s not worst than waiting the big diesel truck

Installed my new Jackery into the back of my Harker EDC.. it charged pretty quickly off of the solar panels stuck on the roof of the camper. I feel so dirty with the Mojave orange box in the back of my Rubicon. :{)

Doors Off
replaced the door hinge bushings with delrin
added the delrin guide pins to the doors.

added coyote mirrors. this was very easy and is a pretty big improvement for quality of life with doors off.

I kept getting another noise in my rear. So I called Clayton, told them everything is torqued. They said most likely it was the metal on metal from the coil springs. They suggested getting some spring isolators or coil spring sleeves if I didn’t transfer the stock ones over from the bottom of the springs to their springs. Clayton said they have updated their instructions to transfer them over. I finally got around to putting them on yesterday and the noise is gone completely. So if anyone is experiencing the same thing this could be your fix.
