Definitely some pros' and cons'. I am not retired, nor do I go on a lot of long trips. Even less now with a little critter to take care of. But, even getting to town for dr appts and errands and such, I have found it helpful already. I use it pretty frequently. Helps to not require me to fill up the tank every day after a run to town. I can go 3 trips now without filling up. Although that $100 fill up is rough lol
i definitely will go second tank in the future along with the 392 swap. I like the can for diesel for my deisel heater as well as carrying 5 gal of extra fuel for those who may need it but weren't prepare. a lot of these toyotas i wheel with get like 12-14 mpg on a good highway day. as soon as we spend a day or two on trail they don't notice the consumption till it starts to sputter.

Preventative maintenance. New HD Dynatrac Ball Joints, just turned 80k miles, 65k of it with 37s on the stock ball joints, truck steering feels tighter over the washboards.

I’ve tried over and over to attach the video of the tire event on poison spider. Even cut down to 53 seconds it says it’s too large.
Try reducing the quality if possible. Chances are your video is in 1080 when I'm sure it would fit at 720 but again, "if possible"

Just some cosmetic mods for my JT. Put on a new custom tailgate graphic from Adventure Life USA.

Avery Gold Metallic with a little nod to my hometown thrown in, the "Star on the Mountain"!

Now I'm just waiting on some 392 Gold outline tailgate letters from Distinction Applied because I ruined the Rubicon set I was working on.

Finally got around to installing the ASFIR Aluminum Skids for the motor/transmission and also the transfer case. Overall, good impressions. Especially since I had Jr. do it for me. LOL. I did learn a couple new expletives over the course of the install, and got a lecture about engineering. :). But overall, the install seemed pretty straightforward to me. Looking forward to scratching them up. Oh...my only negative take-away is that it's probably going to make oil changes exponentially harder. We'll see on that.....

the answer is a Fumoto valve or similar (valvomax, etc). Easiest oil change in the world. get the accessory tubing and it'll slip right onto the nipple.
