What trail? Pictures? I’m sure it’s fine. Have fun with it.
Pics, or it didn't happen
The scratches and dent aren't worthy of a photo, probably wouldn't even see the scratches in a pic, but now they are there I cannot, not see them ;)
6ft wide car on a 5 ft wide overgrown track, its gunna happen
Back country western NSW Australia with a great group of people

Dunno where I picked up the dent in the back door, I am sure it was my own stupidity at some point

The lead in looks so much tighter than it was from inside the car , didn't touch the sides

How did you wire it?
Connected to OEM Headunit

- 10 gauge power wire thru driver side firewall grommet to +battery terminal
- 10 gauge ground closest factory ground
- Remote wire to 12v ignition source
- T-harness to High/Low RCA converter to Sub RCA input

So it plugs into the back of the head unit?
No it does not.

Front left and right wires off the T-harness. Butt connected to High/Low RCA converter. Don't have to splice into factory wires and fewer wires to manage.

I like that light bar but the cost is hard to swallow. Where did you get a better price?
Are some of the LEDs not working?

Huh, didn't notice that! We'll shoot, guess I'm going to have to bust out the solder. Just wish it was still on my workbench instead of the truck. ?

The reason I got a good price on it was I bought it used, paid $400 bucks ?. Sometimes that's just what happens I guess, I didn't catch that on the original listing.

Now I wish you didn't point it out dammit! ? I would have never noticed. I don't exactly like staring into sun.

Today's theme was 20 questions projects. I fixed my broken Rugged Ridge Snorkel with some JB weld and a Popsicle stick. I added my 392 Gold badges and tailgate emblems that match all my bronze accents. And I put some dust caps on the chrome door locks.

Little things to bring the truck together.

That all took about an hour, so I threw in a new to me Quadratec Stealth Light bar that I picked up for a pretty good price.

AKA, the "Jesus Beam". Because the first thing you say once it hits your eyes is "Oh JESUS!"

I didn't want to be that guy, but now I've gone Lightbars before Lockers. ?
(I promise Lockers are on the list! Just saving up for it.)

Where did you get the gold badges?
Bought the fender badges on ebay, this store had them for $50 bucks for both instead of $160. Mopar part numbers, so I'm pretty sure they're real.

And I ordered the tailgate badge from Distinction Applied, just had to put a note for the center color to be the stock Rubicon Grey, matte finish. Still a bit glossy, but it's a very close match.

Well I like it . And as far as looks go . It's no different than those giant black stickers people put on the hoods. Secondly as least it does something (battery maintain) beside just stick on there and do nothing.
That was my thought. Easier to install than a decal, and it does stuff. :)

Many will and have said it’s not worth it, but I really like it. It’s from Cascadia 4x4. It’s only 30w I think because the rubicon hood vents decrease real estate.
I think if your looking for a battery maintenance solution, it would be worth considering. I believe you could always add more panels to the controller, but I'm not positive.
If your just looking for solar power for camping or such, then there probably better solutions.

I know personally I go back and forth on these. Especially for my wife's Wrangler that doesn't get driven as much as mine.

Agreed. You can add panels, but they will only daisy chain and get the total wattage if each panel is the same size. Otherwise you’d need another controller.
