Just picked up my first Gladiator last month (2021 Sport). I love it! It came with the stock tire size of 245/75r17. I put some 285/70 takeoffs from a 2020 Mojave on this past weekend. Wow! What a difference! I really like the Mojave rims and I get to keep the all black look. Perfect amount of poke for me. Although I may be adding some fender flare extensions soon and possibly some hinge protectors, lol.

They only have about 10k miles left on them so will be replacing them soon.

LOL! That's my son's. He just turned 16. It will be his first Jeep/vehicle. It has a radiator leak somewhere and needs breaks all around. It goes in the shop next week. The 2.4L sounds pretty good for the 92K miles on it. However, it is definitely NO GLADIATOR! He absolutely loves driving mine.

Installed the rear lower control arm skids from rock hard 4x4. Maybe the shock skids tomorrow.

One shop quoted me over $700 and other shop with the same Google Review rating........ $250 and should be done in about a week

So.....I picked up my truck from the dealer. The aux battery in fact had gone bad to they replaced it under warranty; That's the good news. The bad news is those idiots damaged my hood in the process. They raised the hood much higher than needed and in the process slammed it into my ditch lights. It put dents in the hood as well as took out chunks of paint. I was looking over my truck before leaving and about came unglued. Spoke with 3 managers and they told me they would be calling me tomorrow the schedule the repair. One guy said his paint and dent guy would look at it but I told him there is no way a paint and dent guy can repair the damage. One other guy agreed that it's probably going to have to go to the body shop they use for the repair. They will also be providing me transportation during the repair. That same shop replaced and painted my new hood 6 months ago when it was damaged by debris that hit me on the interstate. I told all of them this is why I hate dealerships. Pisses me off they weren't going to say something and even tried to cover it up. Just my luck.

Looks much better with the new tires and wheels. Amazing what small things can do to change the overall look.

They've historically been high, but they do excellent work. For a front grill shell that's going to get hammered over time, I'd rather save $500

Well between my shifts at the FAA where I swore an oath to defend the United States against all enemies including domestic, I installed some parts.

Couple notes. Sector shaft brace was a bitch. It did not want to line up with the steering shaft. Can't imagine doing the job without a good impact, either. Hopefully it doesn't wear out in 10k miles... but it will. Got a little wobble with the 40s I didn't like. Had previously done 1/8 toe in. Reduced to 2.5mm toe in at the 11.5" mark, or 0.25°. Between the toe adjustment and the brace, the wobble is gone, but it may be temperature. I got the slightest wobble when the tires were cold at 20° but it was about 50° today. Tires are stubborn when cold, the only time I got wobble before. Removed the rock rails for trimming. The tires clear at full lock on both sides without the rails. Going to trim 1.5" tomorrow and give it another shot.
