I just installed their tie rod today on mine. It certainly has some weight to it. Nice improvement over the stock that made it 40k, 20k of that on 37s.

Took the new lift out for a test drive. Mopar 2" vs Clayton Overland Plus 3.5" with 37" Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I need to pull the front axle back a little bit. Getting a tiny bit of rub on the front driver spring. It's hitting the Steer Smarts sector shaft brace when turning passenger and hitting a bump.

Yea Dan I'm not a fan of dealerships. But since it's under warranty I figured I'd let them replace the battery before I have to start paying for them myself. They contacted me Friday and have ordered everything they need for repairing the damage. They even ordered a new front bumper cover since the mechanic walked all over it with dirty shoes and scuffed it up. I asked why they didn't cover the bumper if they were going to do that and the manager said that never should have been done, that they have step ladders for that. Total incompetence. He apologized many times and guaranteed to make everything right. Time will tell.
I guess it takes time for the stop/start to work again as I drove it home, to work and then home again and it did not cut off even once.
I may do the aux battery delete once the warranty is up. Have read about that but not 100% sure how to go about that. Will worry about that down the road.
Sounds like they handled it well. Glad to hear it. It does take a bit for that to start working again after replacements. I’m personally of the opinion that these jeeps were designed to work with two batteries. It’s not worth the cost of an aux battery for me to question that. But I’m in the minority I’d expect. I’m also of the opinion that they should be replaced as a pair. One weak battery can be parasitic towards the other one. When mine started acting up? I replaced both. I haven’t had a single problem since. I went with a yellow top optima for the main, and normal aux 14 for the aux. I have enough accessories and winch enough that I wanted a better battery to handle those loads.

Yea we'll see how things turn out. Appreciate the input on the batteries. I've seen a few videos on both ways to install so I'll make that decision down the road when it becomes necessary.

Started building my drawer for my camp stove, storage, and canopy bed. Will finish the build tomorrow.

RAM Board is good for making templates too.

Trimmed 1.5" from the front of the rubicon rock rails. Looks pretty factory to me until you get close and see the black paint peaking out around the edges. And no rub at full lock with the 40s.

that was the ONLY body modification i needed to do after installing 40s. zero rub with the stock rubicon inner and outer fenders.
