I used heavy duty zip tiesI just unbolted them, and put black duct tape on them to keep them from clanking. What method did you use to break them free? I've seen a few brave enough to use an angle grinder to cut through the back side.
Me too.I used heavy duty zip ties
If I swap to a '24+ grille I'll probably get these also. Not been a fan of the Oracle ones I have...Not today, but recently, I installed new side steps from Amazon and the Dirt Road Cred grill lights.

Waiting for Dirt Road Cred to make a 4 piece setWell i tried to install my tailgate/taillights wrap this evening. I got the tailgate completed no problem(still have to install retro JEEP letters, but wrap is on) started running out of sunlight, got frustrated and messed up the wrap for around the drivers tail lights. So for now just the tailgate will be wrapped until I get a tail light wrap replacement.

Also installed my Dirt Road Cred RGB interior lights. Hard to see with the roof light on but I have them set to orange.

I commented and asked if there was going to be a 4 piece or a rear addition and he replied there was going to be both. So I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the fronts. Ill add the rears when they get them figured out. Def glad to help some guys trying to grid hard and make a living and using all ISA made matrials.Waiting for Dirt Road Cred to make a 4 piece set

Yeah I've talked to Matt a few times. He's good people, local'ish to me and I like his business mindset.I commented and asked if there was going to be a 4 piece or a rear addition and he replied there was going to be both. Get a Tazer, that'll let you triple click the unlock on the fob, and it's all back lights on until you click or do something else. I think it does time out eventually but it's a long time.I’m digging these reverse lights. Any chance they can be wired into an auxiliary switch as well to use when parked? For camp lighting or some work in the dark.
Yeah, should be pretty simple, run a line from the Aux in the passenger floor board, button of your choosing. On the diode there should be some kind of marking like >|. The > is the "in" and the | is the "out" side, | is the wall that prevents back feed like WILDHOBO said. A T-tap into the plug and play harness would probably be the best place to connect it, on the Oracle light side, the not into the factory side. Just my $0.02I use them for that occasionally. It works quite well. I do it for extreme tailgaters.
Pretty simple if you’re used to 12v wiring. Think of the diodes as two inputs going to one output. The inputs are the aux switch (or any switch) and the reverse circuit. The diode protects voltage from the aux switch from back flowing towards the reverse circuit when you’re not in reverse and the truck doesn’t expect voltage there. The single output goes to the lights. You only need one diode. The output from the diode goes to both lights. One input to the diode comes from the reverse circuit, which can be gotten from the oracle harness. The other input comes from your on-demand switch. Does that make sense?
The diode I linked has been the one I’ve been using since 2021. It hasn’t flinched. Granted I waterproofed all the connections extremely well with gratuitous amounts of shrink wrap and marine connectors.![]()
