Most places outsource their app development and go with the cheapest bidder who has zero understanding of the product and probably has a language barrier. Most of these low budget apps are designed by entry level devs and to be used across a broad scope of applications, they are seldom built for that product specifically.

As someone who designs and develops apps I can also say not everyone can envision how a user will interact with or understand a layout. Some devs can only see what makes sense to them and can't comprehend how a non-tech savvy person will see it.
I haven’t even thought to turn on my rock lights for as long as I can remember. The app is so awful it’s a fight every single time.

Well, I almost have 500 miles on my new Gladiator, and the major mods are done. Last weekend, I installed a new front bumper and a Warn Zeon 12S winch. Unfortunately, the bumper was too heavy for me to lift and install on my own, so had to enlist a little help from the cherry picker and 4 post lift.

After the bumper was installed, winch was pretty easy to install as it can be handled by one person. Routing the cables up to the battery took a little effort to ensure they didn’t contact anything else in the engine bay. The outside cube lights are wired on the original fog light circuit, while the 20 inch light is wired on the first Aux switch.

I was able to use the original Rubicon metal skid front bash guard, as it followed the contour of the Rough Country Tubular front bumper, which was a pleasant surprise. I’ve only been home for 18 days after our winter trip, so making good progress. Majar mods so far:

- AEV 2.5 lift with Teraflex 1 inch front spacer
- Clayton rear track bar to keep spare under the jeep
- front Rough Country track bar (this is only needed because I am running the Baja Boss 37 tires on stock rims)
- Rough Country front bumper
- Hood lift cylinders (had them on my JK and love them)
- front and rear differential skids
- Warn Zeon 12S winch (I alway run the Warn cover to keep water from getting inside the winch)
- Lox Rox chase rack. I’ve always felt that the bed looks orphaned from the cab, so wanted to tie the bed into the cab.
- Trail Rails

Mods still in process:
- custom bed side graphics…still in the design process with the company that will do the work…
- Wire the ARB Twin I brought over from my JK
- Install my low budget rock lights and wire to an Aux switch (I just use 4 cube flood lights from Harbor Freight, and never had a failure)
- Install/Wire a slim light bar on the chase rack
- wire the LED lights in the chase rack into the bed light circuit for better bed lighting
- Finish building the rear seat delete system.
- Purchase/Install belly pan

I’ve had a lot of jeeps since the 1980’s so have a good idea how I want my new Jeep prepped before I make the purchase. The Gladiator is not built for extreme rock crawling like my JK, but it will be able to handle most trails in Moab (we normally spend 3-4 weeks a year in Moab), the Rubicon Trail, Dusy Ershim and all the other no name trails we happen to find during our travels.
Outstanding. I can’t wait to someday put a lift in the garage.

Mounted my compressor to the side doors of my smart cap. 3D printed some back plates with some high temp rigid material, now I need some more robust hydraulics to keep the door up with the additional weight. Still working on the wiring, but the hardest part is done.

I was going to order those a while ago but now it says Currently Unavailable. 😕
I see that now. And they took the button to let you know when they would be back in stock away.

And just like that my grille is on FIRE!

Distinction Applied - Aftermarket 2024+ Grille on a 2022 Sport S, fits perfect, need to source 1 push pin for the weatherstipping that was too borked to reuse. Otherwise flawless.

Nice touch on the headlight buckets & trim rings

No, it isn’t like that at all. I had this stuff throughout my entire cabin in my JKU. It’s great stuff. The bedliner protects the bed very well and prevents rust, but this protects the cargo as well. You can put furniture and other stuff in and not worry about the liner scratching it. You can pull the Bedrug out to power wash and dry easily as well. And if you need to crawl in there, this stuff is much easier on your body parts combined to just the bedliner.
How’s it do with dog hair?

Love your method of keeping those terminals from touching anything.

Hey Bobby, I got this message through Amazon from the seller.

"Thank you for your support! This product is very popular and has temporarily sold out. However, we have already shipped new stock using the fastest logistics available. It should be back in stock within 5-7 days. I’d be happy to notify you as soon as it’s available—would that work for you?"

Like I said, outstanding customer support. I wouldn't doubt that they would replace them if something were to happen outside of the return window. I'm pretty happy with them.

I do the same thing. I take two welding gloves and put the wires in them.

My apologies for the somber derail....back on track.

I bit the bullet (no pun intended) and did a re-gear to 4.88s yesterday.

Just when you think this thread has grown exponentially with people "doing stuff to they Gladi today" just to find out its a big ol online keyboard warrior battle happening. Can someone just start a gun/no gun thread and take it there? I came here to see what people are doing to their trucks...
Nothing's stopping you from scrolling by posts you don't wanna read. It's like TV, just change the channel..
