Weather warmed up and got around to installing the Rubicon Diesel springs and shocks I picked up awhile back.

Netted me about 1.5" of lift in the front and and 1" in the back. Halfway expect it to ride pretty stiff but was pleasantly surprised how smooth it rides. When I put on 33's (285/70/17) with the stock Sport suspension, it was some more stiff and jarring on some bumps in the road, but that is all gone with this setup now and shows how well properly tuned shocks and springs are when matched with the correct tire size.

Sorry to interrupts you ladies and your kerfuffle with Gladiator content.

Anyways, weather warmed up and got around to installing the Rubicon Diesel springs and shocks I picked up awhile back.

They are not Fox shocks but the Tennco made replacements. The set I bought came off a very late model year 2023 Diesel Rubicon and seems to address the weaker springs and shocks on the earlier Diesel gladiators.

Took mine 6 weeks from ordering to picking it up. That was in 1/22 to 2/22. Today, I don't know. So you better get on the ball removing stuff.
Yeah, I need to clean out the garage so I have room to stash stuff - and then move to the shop and clear a whole lot of stuff, move things around.
I was going to trade my boring bar and rod hone to a guy who was going to help restore a 1914 2,000 pound engine - wish he had taken those already to get them out of the way.
A day or two to rearrange things, then it will really start.
Hoping the fuel pump for the Javelin finally arrives so I can move that car out.
Going to be really crazy as my son is visiting with my grandson the first of May and he wants to borrow a vehicle (he's flying up) so I need to get the Eagle out so he can borrow that. Oh, boy - lots to do.

You are more than welcome to come and help - no doubt you know what you're doing.

Finally got the Method 305’s installed after sitting in the basement since the holidays (they were on sale😆).
Method 305’s with my stock OEM 33’s.
17” x 8.5” +25 backspacing
No poke

Thank you to Mt. Zion Offroad in Dover, PA. They helped me pick an offset that would keep me ‘Pennsylvania Friendly’. Bought the wheels thru them and went back for installation. Install was pricer than most would want - but they were meticulous, took their time to get it done right. They took a test drive to make sure everything was good. They installed the OEM TPMS sensors - they seem to be functioning as expected (knock on wood). Very clean shop and very nice folks.

Looking to add some ‘accents’ …. Have some ideas….
Keepin’ the stock wheels for a while.

@Janster I like the Method 305's but the center caps I had issues breaking them off while offroading. I broke 1 replaced it, broke another weeks later replaced it, the 3rd time I broke one replaced them with the low profile center caps. No issues after. I should have replaced with the low profile caps after the first one broke, slow learner I guess. 😁
