PXL_20250406_213935809.jpg

snow plow wiring harnesses removed (all of them, plus all of the relay banks and lighting control box)

PXL_20250406_213930339.jpg

2" front receiver removed.........

PXL_20250406_213331871.jpg

aux switch terminal block, winch disconnect solenoid (with bracket I made for it and the plow's 200 amp fuse)

PXL_20250406_213952367.jpg

It's going to take a big box to unload all of the stuff stashed under and behind the rear seat - straps, snatch blocks, shackles and more....
Not where it will all fit into the new one since it has some of the space taken up with that speaker. Likely I'll take it out to free up space.

Monday the front springs come out and the stock springs go back in.

opinion - remove and keep these shocks and put the stock originals back? Or don't mess with it?

Don't forget to remove the side markers and put the ugly amber ones back on.

I drove for 2 years without mine. 😂 That said, I had much beefier components up front than stock.
As do I. Nothing anywhere on my suspension is stock. I don’t think even a single bolt. Looking closely at it, I think my 2.5 ton tie rod took a hit, bent enough to snap the bolt, then bounced back as it’s solid aluminum. Since everything else was in order, I very well may have driven 5.5 hours home from Moab having no idea anything was wrong.

I definitely like it. I was just shocked you did something to cover up some green compared to all of the green you have been adding over the past few months.
Haha yeah I was on the fence about it but I’m glad I did it.

Yup - hopefully that happens today, pulling fender liners back when the tires are off. Remove those and the pigtails that plug into the turn signal/side marker lights that go to my snow plow wiring as well. I already have the original side markers sitting by the truck in my shop.

SOOOO much work to pull all this stuff. This is why I’m not trading mine ever. I can’t see myself starting over.

You have really modded yours to the max, though - above and beyond what even some of the more modified Jeeps here are.

This will likely have to be my last for a while - it is a ton of work, not to mention uncheap.

Can’t wait to see that mojito. It’s going to be gorgeous.

Washed it and noticed something. I crouched down to wash the front axle and suspension and the steering stabilizer wasn’t attached to the tie rod clamp. The bolt snapped. I didn’t have tools to remove it, and was close to home, so strapped it to the track bar to get home. It’s trashed. Oh well. There are more expensive parts that could break. I had no idea it was broken. That shows how important they are. I put 80 interstate miles on it today with tight turns. No problems whatsoever. It makes me want to look into why they’re even necessary.

On this subject, I’m done with stabilizers that have piggyback reservoirs. Had anyone used the rock krawler 2.5 IFP stabilizer? I also don’t think adjustment is important for me. If it drives as well as it does without one, I’ll simplify things.

I'm probably like a kid on Christmas eve right now. Hurry up and get here - no, wait, I'm not ready yet!

I have distractions trying to get the truck ready AND still try to get restorations done for customers, and Friday pick up Barbara and her friend at the airport as they come back from 12 days in Belgium and Nederland.

Wait, are you trading for a mojito?

Theres a mojito rubi at the local dealer here I've been trying to talk my buddy into. Color looks great in person. He wants a diesel though.

Trading my 2022 Overland hydro blue (which I also absolutely love for a color for these trucks) for the 25 Mojave X Mojito!

I saw the color in person on a JL at the dealership we normally use.
Wish I could keep both as I love the blue but.........................

Added a Teraflex 3.5" lift to my Sport. Beat the South Texas heat by starting early, and thankful it's a cool day for a change.

45 and WINDY here - glad I could shove things around in my shop to finish stripping my 22 for trade. Jerry came by and we whipped out the rest of the items in short order.
Removed the 2" Synergy front springs and put the stock springs back up front, among other things like removing the rest of the snow plow lighting wiring from behind the front fender liners, Jerry swapped out the Oracle bumper backup lights and put the stock reflectors out while I messed with the fender liners and plow wiring.
Was so glad it was inside in the warmth and out of the wind.
So it's ready to trade other than taking the rest of my personal stuff out from under and behind the back seats. Whatever it on it now will go with it - unless someone wants the Eibach rear shocks (good for something like a 0 to 2" lift, I believe???) Otherwise they go, the air bags will stay in the rear springs and go with it.

Getting closer.
