How much higher does the hood struts lift the hood? My only concern would be the hood hitting my ditch lights.
The same as the prop rod holds it. No higher than that.

Good to know. I know on some vehicles it raises the hood slightly higher and I don't want issues if I install these. Thanks and love the new truck. Welcome to the Mojave family.

With the hood on the prop rod, when you connect the cylinders you do have to lift the hood a bit to get the prop rod disengaged from the lower end hole, so it's pretty much the same.

I had the same concern so I lifted the hood to see how far it would go back before contact with the ditch lights. Mine are pretty close to the ones in your avatar and I had plenty of room to lift the hood.
BTW, make sure you get the Mojave version.
Redline Tuning 21-20006-02 Hood QuickLIFT PLUS Bolt-in System Compatible with Jeep Gladiator Mojave 2020+
I don't remember the difference but something with the Mojave hood shape.

The weight.......... Mojave hood is a heck of a lot heavier and requires different cylinder numbers.

I kept my same hardware/ball mounts from the 2022 Overland and just bought new cylinders to handle the weight.

maybe doesn't count since it wasn't me technically, but PPF was put on every inch of the gladiator and I picked it up today. looks awesome, can't tell its there which is the way it should be.

Great info thanks. Already had damage to the hood where the dealer lifted it too high when replacing my battery under warranty and I don't want that happening again after it's been repaired.

Yeah, I was being a bit sarcastic after the Mojave superiority complex a person or two exhibit. (ok, more than a bit.........)

It's metric - but my other two did not have such marks.
They probably figure people will try a 7/8" lug wrench on it and scratch their head as most were 3/4" (cars/small cars) or 7/8" years ago.
I was kinda figuring you were be sarcastic. But there had mentioned it so...
That is a damn fine looking Mahave.🤣

Your garage looks like a bag of skittles, taste the rainbow!

Looks like the 1st modification for mine will be to add a friggin’ BRAKE CONTROLLER that the truck should already have
Look into the Curt Echo Bluetooth controller Curt Echo. My buddy has one and said it works awesome. Picking one up this weekend.
