That actually would take all remaining question out of it .My bracket holes are the same as the sleeves as well. Is it possible the wrong bolt was put in there? I’ll check my sizes for you as well if you want.

I edit my other post with the PDF for the Synergy Kit. Gives the sizes. I did this kit on my last 2022 Rubicon JT.
Would you happen to know the hardness rating of that bolt ? @ HootbroThat has always been the problem with both the JL and the JT control arm is that they drill SAE inch spec holes for the control arms but use a undersize metric fastener. Same with the corresponding bushing size on the control arm. A 5/8 x 4" bolt is what you are looking for.
If you search around, companies like Synergy sell replacement control arm bolt kits with the SAE inch hardware but you can probably source local for cheaper. Want a grade 8.
Maybe Saturday. Or if I didn’t need to hit a data center tomorrow.I can see this thread tomorrow your going to check yours now![]()
I’m sure they’re 12.9 if metric.Would you happen to know the hardness rating of that bolt ? @ Hootbro
That is what I was suspecting . Was a M12I’m sure they’re 12.9 if metric.

Keep in mind before that hole got egged, it would be a snug fit with the proper SAE inch hardware.190ftlbs# holy squeeze play batman !!
Why did every girl I dated say that? What does it mean????You may still have a hotdog thrown down a hallway situation
I couldn’t agree more.![]()
THIS! This is exactly why I love Jeep and this forum. You guys are awesome! Help is never far away!
I learned that the hard way and always use it now.Keep in mind before that hole got egged, it would be a snug fit with the proper SAE inch hardware.
You may still have a hotdog thrown down a hallway situation with the replacement hardware. May be better with the larger SAE inch hardware but may still be a issue.
Edit: Would also suggest putting anti-seize on the bolt shanks with the new inch hardware because it will be that much more of a snug fit in the control arm bushings if you ever have to take them out again.
