I've been on some of those roads delivering parts to compressor stations.
Turbo-compressors? For pipelines, petrol, etc.?
The type we used to engineer control systems for?

Yes

I haven't experienced in my Gladiator Rubicon. But the Diesel I had was a manual and yes the only solution was to gear down ( manual) and let off the gas and just let it crawl . I was on a few so bad I had to stop put it in 4 wheel drive let the clutch h out in 2nd and just let it eat. There was this one spot for about 200 yards on ten mile rd. In Wetzel County up high that was washboared pretty bad and I always did the same thing in the Gladiator cause it was gravel uphill. ( steep also ) but I digress . Where I work the gas companies keep all the roads graded and stoned due to water bottle trucks having to use them every day or 2 . So typically they are traveled often and in good shape . The last 2 years I have been working on Raw sites directly off of black top . Where we have to make a road with a bull dozer clay mud dirt etc. No stone . I Literally am Off -Road every single day. That's why I have such a live affair with my Gladiator it has proven its worth many times. I have climbed stuff that have made people say I cant believe you made that . I went up a dozer cut road that had water breaks in it so deep the hitch was on the ground and the back wheels off the ground and the front axle spinning dragging the rear up the other side slamming down and then boring through mud for 3/4 of a mile afterwards. ( yeah Im crazy like that 🤪)
Last year I pulled 2 different slopes one was a 20° grade and another was so steep I aint sure of the degree cause it was all in commitment heavy on the GO pedal and no letting off thought it was gonna come back on me for about a 15 foot section. I know I got a screw loose. But the Gladiator held together 🤪🤣😎😬
Screw loose? I say hell no. You just like to party. The good ones always do.

Here in my neck of the woods they polish the gears before they install them.

They have the equipment to actually burnish them under extreme pressure?

This is my first jeep (2020 Sport) and I am already head over heels in love with it. I have lots of plans for it! I installed these rubicon rails that I purchased from Shibbyjeep and I also replaced the faded cowl for the windshield wiper. I am going to breath some new life into this beauty!

Get yourself some Cerakote black trim ceramic coating for the black plastic. The stuff is great.
