My wife and I left Charleston SC at the same time our friends left Charleston. We were driving and they were flying. We made it home to LaGrange GA hours sooner than our friends. They had a slight delay and had to have wheelchair assistance. Driving was by far a better choice if you are up for that sort of thing. No rental car or Uber rides were needed either.
I’m with you. I’ve done multiple trips where my wife flies with the kids and I pick them up at the airport in our jeep.

I'm in the same boat. Shouldn't be a problem for me but if my 5'2" wife ever needed to get behind the wheel it would be an issue.
My wife is tall af. Ok. That’s bs.

boring but I put on new wiper blades
My Fairlane hasn't had new wipers in the decade+ I've had it, and judging by their petrified condition even before that. (Never sees rain)

Isn’t that because fords can’t stay planted on wet roads?

Finally replaced the useless nets.

I really liked the expandable front pocket. And it did come with zinc screws but I replaced them with black steel.

Not bad for 10 minutes of work and $65. And they screw in using the two bottom door panels screws.
I like these!

I kind of wish I had bought those instead of the ones with the expanded front section.
I learned recently that if you slide the seat all the way forward to work in the back, you can't close the door with mine.
I currently have the ones that kick out in the front and will be removing them because both the Mrs and I have cracked out knees on them multiple times. I've split my knee open pretty good on them.

I do find it funny that all of the different styles advertise all the extra space you get by attaching things to them, yet they are flat against the seats when the doors are closed. You are not attaching anything to them.

Maybe an entirely different solution is in order. I’m going to give it some thought as these don’t seem to be the silver bullet.

They work good for putting things IN, just not attaching to the outside. The ones mclousing posted would be nice because you can still put drinks in them but they otherwise don't protrude out with sharp edges like these.

Great place. That's where I'm from and still have family/friends in the area. Go back quite a few times every year and will be there in a few weeks. It has never entered my mind to fly there. Way too much time wasted getting to the airport, waiting for a flight and then flight time. Plus I like having my own transportation while I'm there to get around seeing everyone. It's not that bad of a drive.
Charleston airport is a breeze compared to many others. You still never know about the weather. I'm flying back on Thurday for a sailing trip and an Aaron Lewis concert. Driving back on Sunday.

I've come to dislike the ones I put in my wife's JLU. They keep hitting my leg, she can't move the seat forward as far as she needs, I can't move the seats forward far enough for cleaning and working on the interior, there just isn't enough room in a narrow vehicle without major compromise. I've concluded, anything down there is all but worthless, no matter who makes it or the style. It's going to be so close to the seat, you can't really access things easily while seated anyway, so I decided - why bother - on my JT.

I completely agree, any cup holder is just announce to me and I want to be able to reach down to adjust me seat without jabbing my finger into something. I rarely carry anything in the pockets beyond receipts or a flyer. The Bartact Front Door Storage Bags are interesting, I just don't think they solve a problem.
