Finally couldn’t deal with the drivers door popping anymore. If this ever happens to you just remove the black bolt and then shut the door. The arm will pop twice and go back into the door. It’s reversible. I actually like this better. It’s old school and allows the door to open slightly more. I might just do it to all the doors.

Two of my four do it. It’s super annoying. I’ve been told it’s a weld that broke in the door. Clearly not an isolated issue, but a design flaw. Someone used something to dampen the sound.

Took it down to the truck stop and weighed it... Been curious since a discussion at SMORR last month, so as I was loading up to go to the Jeep Invasion I loaded it as I would for a wheeling trip and took it down to the scale -

I thought mine was heavy. Tire weight? Are those for dump trucks?

Easy to just disconnect. Only issue is these doors are so light compared to JK's.

I forget where it gets lubed. I’m somewhat inclined to try jb weld.
Well when my panel seals or anything that squeaks gets unbearable putting a thin coat of Vaseline on them quiets them right down the rubber soaks it up and it resoftens them. It isnt nasty and it won't stain your cloths and the door hinges you hitch ball all of it you can use a little Vaseline on. Then if ya get it on your cloths no biggie throw in the washer comes right out . Lubes we'll without the mess.

I do like options that don’t stain. I meant where on the door. I need to mess with them. They’re getting bad.
