So I’m not a big decal guy and honestly have never had a single one on any of my vehicles. That said , I wanted give my new Gladiator a little more personality .I’ve even joked with my wife and gave my new gal a name.
After I put a few miles on it , the 33’s will be replaced with 35’s … a soft top cover for the front section and a Kayak rack in the rear. She will be a beach truck made for playing in the sand 😎

I was under the impression that my sound bar speaker, passenger side, was blown. Had the all-too-familiar BRRRRRRR whenever a bass note hit. Only when cranked up. My days of loud stereos has past (and my ears say "what ?....what ?"), so I wasn't overly concerned. Concerned, yes, but way back on the back burner concerned.

I think on here someone suggested checking the speaker bolts, they tend to loosen. Grabbed my tools and went to check. I thought those heads for the speaker cover were fake; they look too nice for Jeep to put in actual bolts. But they did. I went to the first bolt; it was loose. Went to the 2nd bolt beside it; same thing. No way. Speaker cover ? I pulled all 4 anyways and checked the speaker mounting bolts. Eh, only one ever-so-slightly loose.

Tightened it all up then came inside, no test ride. That's for tomorrow, but I think I found the culprit.

Besides the loose nut behind the steering wheel, there was loose screws on the speaker cover.

On Monday, I took my wife's little Nissan Kicks in for maintenance. Out of habit, I do a pre-inspection of sorts so I'll have a ready answer when they come at ya with all the "add-ons". She has free oil changes for 4 years, so they wanna make a dime off ya somehow.

I did the feel test of her tires. Ooops. The fronts were on the wear bar already. Needs new tires.

I pull into the dealer, as I'm handing over the fob I say, "I'll do the engine and cabin filter. I know she needs tires, I'll take care of that, too.". He said they'll have to inspect and log it in the report anyways out of liability. I said I understand. And they logged it.

After the oil change, I drive over to NTB. Some may hate them, some may like them. Discount Tire is a popular choice down here, but I've had too many issues with those clowns. Never again.

I get her 4 Goodyears, they'll be good on her little ride. While I'm there I ask the tire dude about four 265/70/17 BFG K03's, balancing and a four wheel alignment. $1,480 roll-out. I say maybe next month.

I call my wife and said her car was done. She asked why it took so long, I said I put new shoes on it. She goes, "It needed brakes ?". I laughed but gave her credit, legit answer. When I got home, I told her about my tires.

Today she sent me an email (she works, I do not) asking if I went and got tires. I said not yet. She answered back and said, "You always give me lectures about how tires are more important than seat belts for saving your life. GO GET TIRES.".

Gotta love her.

Got the hood mounted solar panel that was given to me a few months ago installed and finally got around to building new cables for the lifepo4 batteries in the bed so they are all 4 the same length and all 4 go straight to the distribution block. I’ve had issues with the batteries discharging at different t rates, hopefully this helps. The third pic is how they were wired…
