Comes out to about 14% off sticker. About right. I got 11% off sticker (5.5% below invoice) before the new incentives came out so that sounds about on par.
I was looking at the Overland initially myself. I could justify spending that much money and not getting the Rubicon at the end of the day. If you're just cruising around town with it then it's definitely a good deal.
I went by the local dealer most likely to actually try to make a deal to sell a Gladiator this morning because they have an Overland close in price and without the nanny systems (actually outside of it being a white automatic with no bed liner it is just about what I would order and I can live with a white auto for a good deal) to see if they would meet or beat the price at the other dealer. I also brought in a copy of the order guide (thanks to the hard work of those here that made that possible) with exactly what I would want to order since ordering with the truck of the year package will put me below the MSRP of either of them on the lot to start. His order guy was off today but it sounded like we might be able to work something out and he also mentioned maybe being able to work it so I could get the current cash back even though an order would never be here before March (something he has been able to do in the past with other orders/customers according to him).
What I didn't realize until I got home because I did not pay close enough attention to their website before I left is that the local dealers listed price is now just below the other dealers listed price, both about 11-12% below MSRP. I got distracted talking about ordering so we did not get very far with the one on the lot but depending on what he comes back with regarding ordering on Monday I might try to see how far I get them to go down on the one on the lot.
