I installed 2.5" Evo plush ride shocks on my Mojave. I don't like the shock extensions and want to upgrade to Fox 3.0 shocks.

They come in 2-3" lift lengths and 3.5-4.5" length.

I would assume that I would get the 2-3" but I gained 3.5-3.75" of lift OVER the Mojave lift with these coils.

Thoughts?

I don't know where the Mojave's are bumped at, but the 3.5-4.0 lift front shock works well on my diesel with a min of .5" extra bump. Mojave might need 1" or so to take full advantage? FYI, the 3.0's are pretty short on travel and 1/2" shorter than my 2.5 Eiltes so may work as is. You are limited to about 28.25 ext by the OEM front driveshaft flex.

You mention the 3.0's as an upgrade.........With a 2.5" spring you don't have a ton of up travel to drive fast in comfort. Many people on here have complained about the rough ride quality of the 3.0's so wanted to warn you in case you weren't informed.

One man's upgrade is another man's nightmare? Hmmmmm.....Are we talking shocks or women here? :)

I have the evo 2.5"springs and ended up around 3.5"-3.75" of lift. I ran the extensions for a while to see if they would settle before I bought shocks. Did that for about 16 months, and they didn't settle much and have stayed true to that height. For reference, I only have a winch hanging off the front and some light aluminum skids under the oil pan / trans, so not a ton of extra weight. I went with the "3-5"-4.5" lift" length shocks and they are matched perfectly with the bump-stops provided with the 2.5" Evo Enforcer Lift. Only about 1-2" of shock shaft showing at full compression. I wish I had a photo of that for you, but for reference, the attached photos were taken right after shock install and there were no obvious issues with over or under extension of the shocks. Did a few wheeling trips after that and no issues to report either. Good luck mon ami!
