Figured I’d give an update to what I’ve been using this past year of ownership.
carhartt tool bag. This thing is amazing.
Fits perfect behind the seat too!
Plastic boxes are from harbor freight.

Not all AAA plans are the same. They have an RV plan that covers a lot more than highway tows, including campers, trailers, and some unpaved roads.

If you're going beyond cell coverage, consider a 2 way satellite beacon like the inReach.

Plus you may need a satellite phone not a regular cell phone. 🤔 Heck at my place only some phone service companies even work. If it's not AT&T you may be SOL. My experience with AAA wasn't a good one, after having it for years.
The roadside service from my insurance company has been better. The wrecker service AAA contacted called them back to say I wasn't there and I would have to pay for a second service call. Hard to believe I wasn't there when AAA had called me back to tell me that B.S. it was a hard mounted cellphone in my vehicle. My insurance agent I called directly, she called a wrecker service they use often, I was informed of the waiting time and no paperwork for it or hit on insurance. With USAA it was hit and miss as a carrier.

A real question is what are you able to fix out on trail? Flat tire, unstuck, loose bolt(s)
