That's exactly it. Thanks !I’m just going from memory, but I recall reading on here about the missing bolts being at each of the end caps or something? If so, they don’t actually carry any load and are not necessary.

That looks pretty good I'll have to do the same. Do you think I can install it with the other 4 bolts on each side and mount a cargo rack without it in the meantime? Another option would be to leave the the 3rd rail off for now since I only need two sides to secure the cargo rack and use extra bolts from that.I too was missing two bolts so......
I do not like Rivet Nuts and so I avoid using them when I have that option.
The tail lights can be easily and quickly removed giving you access to the back side of that hole.
I used stainless steel socket-head cap screws with flat washers and a lock washer. A nylon lock nut would be even better.

Don't do me any good now. I cleaned it up with a flat head and thought I was good to go. I'm screwed .. literally
If you are asking if you can install the Trail Rails without the bolts I installed at the rear then I would absolutely say "YES". I think they add some extra "stoutness" to the installation but I certainly do not think they were a critical part of the installation.
I already started the installation. I'm in a more serious problem now.
I'm about to just buy a bed cover and deal with this next spring. I'm so sick of this jeep already and it's not even a year old. Every single thing I try to do with this thing is a headache.
