I'm getting a 2.5" Ride Right lift with Bilstein 5100s installed on my '23 Willy's S Diesel this week. Once my factory tires wear out I would like to go to 37s. What wheel specs should I be looking at as far as offset/backspace for 17" wheels? I will most likely also add hi-line fenders as well.

Thanks

From rock krawler on their 3" lift. should get you in the ball park.

Wheel Fitment:
  • Sport and Overland Wheel Fitment Recommendations
  • 37”/38” Tall Tires - Recommend 3.5” of Back Spacing
  • Rubicon Fitment Recommendations
  • 37” Tall Tires – Recommend 4.5” of Back Spacing
  • 40” Tall Tires – Recommend 3.5” of Back Spacing

I went with
Product Specs:
  • Backspacing: 4.53
  • Offset: -12
  • Size: 17 x 9
  • Hubbore: 78.10
wheels and 37"x12.5 micky thompsons mtz's, but I have a Ruby.

Be warned you will likely get some steering feed back with 37's. Mine was fine on OEM wheels with a lift. Didn't touch a thing and slapped on 37's and now i get some steering feed back, so i had to pop for a steering brace, and a track bar brace, and a bent rear track bar (to clear the spare) and add a touch more toe in.

I have 37's on AEV Salta wheels with their 2 1/2" lift. They have 5.72" of backspacing and I have zero rub problems with them. They fit under the fenders, throw minimal amounts of mud on the side of the Jeep. The stock offset is about +4" I believe but not positive. Just some advice here, the proposed use of your Jeep makes a difference but if you can stay close to the stock wheel geometry you will get better life out of ball joints and wheel bearings.
