Wheels Towing Question

I’m looking to purchase new tires/wheels for my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Max Tow. When looking at used wheels, how do you verify the wheel is rated for the towing capacity? Or is it even that big of a deal with for the tow capacity that I have?

My 2023 is still new enough that I haven't had to buy tires, yet & I am running on stock. I tow my 19' Airstream ALOT and there has been no issue when towing with my current stock tires and my 2023 Sport S with Max tow. I've already put 19,000 miles on since Jan. 4th, 1st towing it home to Arizona from Boise, ID and most of those miles were towing/travel. The same regarding tires while towing with my previous 2010 Nissan Xterra. Tires on TV do not change with regards to towing IMO.

Most wheel manufacturers list the load limit of their wheels on their website.

So get make and model of wheel you're looking at and go to their website and start researching.

If you want to maintain the factory tow rating, use the factory wheels and replace the tires with an equivalent to the tires it came from the factory with. Any change to the stock suspension, tire size, or wheel size will affect the factory tow rating. Your local tire store is usually a good source for advice.
