Right now I have a stock JTR on 33s, and looking to get 35s when these wear out, which will be soon. I'm also on stock suspension, although I do have JTRD front springs(long story) with no interest in lifting. fwiw, I think the diesel springs have less sag in front from the steel bumper and winch over the original gasser springs.

I'm starting to look at wheels, although I don't mind the look of the stock wheels but want to know what my options are, and if I see a set at a good price, I want to know if they'll work. I found a used set of AEV Pintler wheels for a JK, offset +10, backspace 5.2 for a really good price. Would these work on my JTR with 315 BFG ATs? Or would they stick out way too far? Or I'm I better off just throwing a set of 35s on the stock wheels?

"Way too far" is subjective. IMO 5.2 back spacing is still quite a bit of backspacing even if its less than stock. A lot of suspension mods require more backspacing, and wider tires often need room from the control arms, so 5.2 should look pretty decent at about 1ish inch of poke.

Ask, and ye shall receive. Just installed a set of JK Pintler wheels with BFGoodrich 315/70R17 about two weeks ago - lift is from Mojave springs, plus Rough Country 2.5" spacers up front, Daystar 3/4" spacers in the rear:

Different part numbers on the AEV website, may just be due to the different size lug nuts from the JK. At one point there was also some discussion about differences in the lug nuts shoulder angles, don't know if that was determined to be an issue or not.

I don’t mind an inch or 2 outside the fender flares.

I like those. I have a Sting Ray, so similar color and those look nice on that color.
Any issues with rubbing when fully flexed? Also did you use the stock lugnuts?

No issues with rubbing as of yet. The stock lugs were a no go though - had to get smaller splined lugs.
