I caught a deal on 4 JK AEV Savegre wheels. I want to mount them on my 2023 Gladiator Rubicon. Going to put a Mopar 2" lift and going with 37x12.5 tires. My question involves the offset. The JK wheels have a +10mm offset. JT AEV SAVEGRE II wheels have a +25mm offset. That is about a 0.6" difference.

Will that difference be big enough to need a 1/2" wheel spacer? And if so, will there be enough thread left to safely mount the wheels?

Or will they be fine? I don't want any rubbing.

Did you ever find an answer? I'm looking at a set of those wheels right now.

I had thought that the JL wheels had less offset than the JK, not more, but I had it backwards.
Per the interwebs, you are correct and the JK version sticks out more than the JL version. I imagine the issue would’ve been if it stuck out less. Like I wonder if you put the JL version in a JK, if they’d rub control arms or fenders.

Nice find! They will work great. I previously ran them and gave them to a buddy who is running them on his TJ. I'm currently running the same JK spec in a salta

Now the million dollar question is if I leave them black or change the color. I think these would look good in gray on a black truck.

Since searching this forum for the AEV Savegre will inevitably lead to this thread, I figured I'd post an update. Today I mounted the JK Savegre's that I scored last week. It took a week because I was seriously considering powder coating them a gunmetal color or a darker bronze to jut mix things up. I didn't want a black Jeep, and I certainly don't like the black on black on black trend of late. But today I decided to just roll with it so I could see how I liked the wheels before I committed to changing colors. Then there is always the option of putting them on my wife's Sting Gray Rubicon...which I know would look damn good.

So here is how it ended up. While I normally hate black wheels on a black truck, I think this looks much better than I thought it would.

I knew offset would be a bit of an issue. I calculated that the tires would stick out 0.6" (15mm) further than the stock wheels. I was wrong. I based my calculation off the AEV Savegre II spec, not the OEM spec. Somehow I wrote down the wrong specs when I was comparing. So what I ended up with was tires that stick out 1.33" (34mm) further. Pictures below.

OEM Rubicon wheels and tires with +44mm of offset.

AEV Savegre originals for JK, with +10mm offset.

I'm not particularly thrilled about the offset as it sits right now. But, I didn't mind the offset based on my original calculations because my intent has always been to change the tires to Mickey Thompson Baja AT in 255/85/R17...aka the pizza cutters. I'll make the change when these tires wear out, which should be in about 10k miles. That tire is 1.2" thinner than the 285/75/R17 that is on their now, meaning the outer edge should move in about 0.6", or half the difference of the tire size. I can live with that.

So now I've got about 10k miles to figure out if I'm keeping these black or changing the color...or letting my wife win and putting them on her JL.
