I have a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Mojave with 4,500 miles that is making an intermittent whining noise...the sound is similar to microphone feedback or speaker feedback. It's not the radio and initially it'll start whining when I reach speeds of 45+mph and after about an hour driving it happens more frequently at 20+mph. It's so unbearable!! Does anyone else have this issue and know the fix?

Yeah, the whining sounds in my Mojave start at about 55-60 mph on the beach and my passengers start to get uncomfortable. ?

But seriously, not had that issue and I’m just about to roll 34k miles

just make a sharp turn towards the water and see how much the whining increases, lol

Hey, so can you kinda pinpoint the sound where it comes from? Front rear left or right? I know my electric power steering pump whines but it’s mainly at slower speeds.
If you can get a video and post of the noise it might help too.

Going by your profile pic, my money is on the light bar. They can turn into mobile harmonicas. Easiest and cheapest fix is o try door-edge-trim on the fins that radiate the heat on the back of the light bar. Also, try adjusting the angle of the bar. (up/down)

Mud flaps can cause it too. I put a set of amazon chinese mud flaps on my Grand Cherokee. First time I got to 62 mph. I could hear this weird vibrating noise somewhere in the front. Took me a month to figure out it was the mud flaps.

I agree, Just had Rigid in here and one of the things the rep talked about is how common it is for some light bars to make a whining/whistling noise due to the fins.

I had my FAD replaced, was for sure a whine/whistle on my Mojave at like 2,000 miles.

Only time it didn't whine was in 4 Auto or High.

Also, try taking the light bar off and go for a drive.

On my 2021 JTR, at about 20k km I started hearing a faint whine at highway speeds. At 24k kms the whine was louder and could hear it parked and reving the engine. Stethoscope found it in the middle to front of transmission pan. Oil analysis of the tranny fluid detected glycol contamination from the factory and extreme levels of copper and iron. Transmission tanked at 32,800k kms.

Just wondering, have you seen any other stated issue by someone else reporting Glycol contamination from the manufacturing process?
