I had ppf on my last vehicle for 4 years and it still looked liked new. I find the vehicle far easier to care for and keep clean.

I just had the new gladiator done. The entire hood, grill, headlights and fogs, windshield frame, all hinge leading edges, fender flares, front fenders, rocker panels up to the bottom hinge, door sills, and the top ~7” of the tailgate. All the mentioned panels were done with one piece, no seams….. very happy with the results.

I really wanted a Gator Gladiator, but when I was ready to buy at the end of 2020 there were none around and of course the colour was discontinued. I would have been happy with a couple of the other available colours but I couldn’t find anything optioned the way I wanted at all, and I was considering doing a factory order.
Then a black Rubicon appeared on a dealers lot in my area with everything I wanted. I got a reasonable good deal on it so I rationalized that the ‘savings’ could go towards changing the colour.
There wasn’t really a wrap that duplicated the Gator colour though, so after much deliberation I chose the matte khaki, and they also put PPF over the whole vehicle as well.
At $6800 CDN it ended up costing a lot more than I originally thought, mainly because of the PPF, but they did a great job and its holding up really well.

How much did that cost? I just went to a body shop Friday to ask about options. Nobody in my entire area apparently will do anything but the easy stuff. Requested to do the hinges. Nope, not an option apparently. I wonder how hard it is to do it yourself.

My last vehicle was a Ford and they did the Suntek brand. I used them again because I trust the installers. It cost me 3k Canadian. Quite a bit but worth it.

That looks fantastic!!! I love that they left the hinges black.
