Why 2 muffles and a rear resonator?

If you want something quick and dirty, one cut between the first exhaust hanger and the large suit case muffler. Bolt on a turn down tip then wake up the neighbors. Does not drone on the highway.

Won't that heat up the underside?

I've heard the front resonator is what keeps it from droning. My plan is to take out the suitcase muffler, see if it's loud enough, and if not then take out the rear resonator.

Curious to hear more real world experience with different combinations though.

Here's what a rear muffler delete would sound like. It's an exhaust cut out which basically deletes the rear muffler and resonator.

I just addd the afe rock basher. Super simple 1 muffler and cleaned up the back end with plenty of room for my 37” spare
