For real though, I knew about a year ago it was on it's way out but used the NOCO and got some more time out if them the the writing was on the wall so grabbed the new Aux from the dealer and a new AGM main replacement from a local source. Then the remote start syarted acting up everytime when it gets 'real cold' not just normal cold. So today of course wasthe only day that was convenient timewise (life is busy) to get it done but(well it was colder this morning but this is clpse enough, was 43 when I got up) got it done through the fender well then a quick 5-10 mins up top for the main at least...

Haha. I covinced myself too, then not too, then too a few times over then said fuck it and went out. For some reason didnt put my good Helly covies on, just my good Dakota winter jacket, n decided ima try it with gloves. It actually wasn't too bad, but you really need to feel what's up while you're doin it so more often then not the gloves came off or just weren't on. I purposely left a few tools/supplies(battery(s) etc.) Inside so I would have an excuse to go back inside in case I was trying to just keep going but was able to get it done, purposely slowly in about an hour n a half despite the temp. FML tho Ima sucker for punishment. Definately dreaming of those Mexican resorts from years past that I didn't book this year...

But for real, I envy you soo much lmfao

😁 The winter seems to be the time that I get those ‘I put it off’ things done cuz I hate wasting warm sunny days to do chores. 😉
I hate the cold weather…… but damn, if I lived somewhere that was THAT F’N cold… I’d MOVE!!! 😉 Or find a place with a garage and buy a heater (we have two).

Last weekend I was removing the wheels off the boat (in the garage) to get the tires replaced (After 8 years). So now, the wheels are sitting in the garage waiting for me to install them and grease the bearings. ☺

Agree 100% with the hot summer days not getting wasted on chores. I have a garage, my trailers parked in front of it and just seemed like it was more effort to move it to get in the garage and fire up the cannon heater. Also, 1 day I'll convince her to move til then roots are too deep so it is what it is, I'll survive.

☺ I know Right….. ’Effort’ goes out the window in the cold weather.
Kind like Last weekend - to remove our boat wheels. Hubby says….”Do you want to move the boat out of the garage?” - I said….Nahhh…too much effort to move everything out of the way and its too cold out!!! Garage door stays closed, but I managed to squeeze myself between the garage wall and the boat (about 12” or so) and somehow, got the wheel off. 😁 Now, I gotta find the effort to get it back on!!!

For us here it’s the wind that comes with winter. It doesn’t get down into single digits usually but when I go out to do an oil change and the fluid is draining horizontally it can be a slight issue. :CWL:

Same here but no where near as cold. It was 5F this morning. I had some garage stuff to do. I quickly changed that to inside stuff. 😂
