Rim to narrow for the tire? “Poor mans beadlocks.”
I ran my last tires on a rim that was 1” narrow. Could air them down to 8 psi and never lost a bead besides the sticks that got wedged in. For some odd reason they never did wear right

but for a road truck that’s not a POS beater I would go narrower tire. Will track straighter on the road, handle better. Still go all the same places off-road.
