Little sh#t is eating the weatherstrip on the Mopar tri-fold tonneau cover! Nothing in there for him besides a place out of the cold, but why not sit in the engine bay then? Second vehicle being messed with. The WK also got a treatment and my firewall insulation is ripped to shreds. Ugh.

@AllMoparParts.com Do you have any of the effected strips as replacement parts for the Mopar Hard Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover for 20-22 Jeep Gladiator JT?

Sadly, that won't help. I will see what I can find out. No clue if one can replace it even. Would suck having to buy a new cover because somthing so small.

Squirrels, chipmunks, mice, rats, anything like that likes to chew on things. I've had strings of Christmas lights clipped by rodents, and they were hanging about 2 feet off the ground, so my buddy suggested it was squirrels.
Rodents chew - maybe it exercises their teeth? Maybe they like the feeling, or are looking for nesting material for winter?
A bit of peppermint oil on cotton balls helps under the hood.

Steal some makeup pads from the bathroom. Holds a little more oil than cotton balls, and you can load the center and the edges stay dry long enough to stuff them in a corner. Unless you like the smell of peppermint on your fingers for days... (or wear gloves I guess)

I have boxes of various chemical gloves in my shop for my plating stuff.................
I've also used long wires to position the cotton down deep where the critters travel, blocking their highways.

Someone on here had squirrels chewing his painted fenders.

Watch a youtube video last night about a big Cat diesel engine overheating after just being rebuilt. Took a different shop to figure out what was wrong. During the rebuild, a mouse took up living in one of the hoses for the cooling system. Hose got installed with the mouse in it. He ended up plugging the water pump supply hose from the reservoir.
