Hi folks, Ive had my gladiator a few days now and yesterday while driving in a light rain I started to fog up on the out side of the windshield. Haven't talked to the dealer yet, thought I'd check here first to see if this is common. It has the 3.6 and the travel was 15 to 25 mph. Thanks for the input.

That's why. Not jeep specific at all. If the fog is on the outside of the window, just run the wipers once. It's just condensation, and it'll happen on anything, especially if humidity is high and there's a big temperature differential.

Since it was on the outside, and you ran the defrost at a cold temperature, it makes it worse. You cooled the window, therefore also cooling the air next to it. Cold air has a lower saturation point, so the water in the humid outside air around the window condensed into water droplets. Perfectly normal on any vehicle.

Make sure your AC is set to recirculate when running in wet weather. You don't want the outside air coming in and adding moisturize.

If youhave ever lived in Florida you will see this on buildings. Cold AC touching inside windows with high humidity and rain outside. Boom! instant fog. Run the wipers and turn off that cold defrost. Run the dash air only if you fog inside and to a correct temperature for that. Avoid running so cold.
