Evening y'all!

I am going to install the above product in the next day or two. The instructions are pretty general and I am somewhat anxious with wiring issues. Can anyone point me to a guide or lend me your knowledge to help out with the installation?

I will need to tap into the marker parking light wire, the driver and passenger turn signals and the plug ground wire.

If I want to access the plugs to tap into, will I need to remove the grill or are they accessible in a better way?

(link to the product that I am installing - Lightshield )

Thanks so much for any advice or assistance you can lend!

I would ask @ShadowsPapa about available harnesses so that you are not messing up the factory wiring. Unless you want the blinkers and other light functions to work, I would just use a fuse tap to get them power so they are on when the engine is running.

Does anyone know if you can just use fuse taps for the driver / passenger side blinkers and the drl ?

I read that newer vehicles don’t use fuses to control the blinkers anymore, but I’m not sure on the accuracy of that.

It's a little more difficult with these, as the computer monitors the draw of the bulbs and controls the light circuits. The LED's should not be a load problem. You can tap the wires, like the instructions show, but then you create integrity issues with the factory wiring. @ShadowsPapa has experience with this. He has a thread about the install of a snow plow, where he had to tap in for the lights. The harnesses he used to tap in to the lights are probably what would work well for you. They provide access points for the various light circuits, and keep the factory wiring intact and undamaged.
