What would you say are the notable difference between the 2 after getting seat time in both. I never drove the Mojave but always was drawn to the Rubicon features since its inception on the TJ model. It really had all the things i had bucket listed for my YJ so many years ago so the turn key aspect and terrains I frequent really only the Rubicon was suited for. So, yeah.....What's you $0.02
Cheers!!
Hey thank you for participating and dang my daughter has been driving her since I got her?. But wow I never knew the suspension and ride was that big a difference between the Mojave and Rubicon. Its a softer more stable ride and not that stiff and hard ride in the Rubicon. And even the V6 motor is actually better than I remember in my 2020 Gladiator Rubicon. I really like the setup so much I am on the fence of as I type trading in my Raptor Bronco for the Ram TRX?. Wow really long the Jeep brand again and today I drove my Raptor and was like wow this thing is not as powerful as I thought and the front seating is not much different.....WOW???

I love my Rubicon! I love Jeeps in general. Wife will probably end up with a 4xE Cherokee at some point

Wow I can’t believe I have been away this long and should never sold my 2020. But the Mojave package is really nice and feel it’s really my style over the Rubicon. I never drove the Mojave being I was no longer in the Jeep Market and WOW the Mojave is the deal for me.

I miss my 2021 Willys Oil Burner!
I took it west to Yellowstone, Monument Valley, the Carson City “Steam Up”, then on to Alaska before returning to Florida. I had 58,000 miles (after two years) on it when I got rid if it. I was not happy with the HPFP recall that lingered for over a year without a solution and I didn’t want to be stuck towing my Casita in the rough without a readily available solution.
My 2023 3.6 doesn’t have the impressive performance of the oil burner.
in a moment of anger and frustration I got rid of my Willys.
i consider both of my Gladiators as multi-purpose utilities:
(It is sort of like a Swiss Army knife, it does a lot across the spectrum of demands, it doesn’t excel in the demands put upon it, but it delivers a tolerable performance!)
1. It goes off road but it is out classed by a 2 door Wrangler
2. It will carry 5 people but a full size Mercedes would have more comfort on a cross country drive.
3. I can carry 4 X 8 sheets but I’ll make more trips than a one ton full size pickup.
4. It can be a an “open air” vehicle but it doesn’t have the style of a BMW.
5. It is probably the one vehicle, as a Jeep, that has the greatest number of aftermarket modifications available.
Life is about choices, and often compromises are necessary.
