WTH is This?

So I just parked and this adhesive patch thingy majigger just fell from above the windshield area and landed on the diver side speaker on top the dash. WTH is it? I’m guessing it has to do with the heat, it was 104 today here in TX.

Just in case it’s relevant, I have a 2021 Overland with a freedom top. I’ve owned it since new and have around 27k miles.

I had one drop out on right side some time back, it could have been a matching one to your photo. I left it where it fell out to for awhile. Then I finally tossed it into trash, my waiting was trying to think if it was mounting tape for something. BTW mine is 2020 Sport S. so it's probably all that have that.
