I have the MORE dead pedal. If I had to do it again, I'd wait for the Qtec one. The MORE dead pedal picks up vibration from the speaker and drives me crazy. It also flexes quite a bit, and due to its design, I think continuing to tighten the bolts will just break them.

Mine doesn’t flex a bit and I’m not feeling any vibration…and mines an oil burner. I’m just wish it came back another 2 inches or so. I have the seat slammer and it lowered the rear of the seat 2 inches and raised the front about an inch. Being 6’3 I still feel I have to reach for it.

I don't feel any engine vibration, just vibration from music. I actually put a piece of medium density foam over it and all is good now. And, to be honest, the only time I notice any flex is if I use the dead pedal to push my self back in the seat.

I went with this dead pedal. Similar to the Quadratec model, but lacks the hinge that allows for easy floor mat removal. It’s usually in stock too and the Quadratec model is not. Like the Quadratec model, it mounts to the post coming off the front wall instead of the difficult side mount.

I know this is an old thread but thought I would add my 2 cents since Quadratec has these in stock now. I just installed the Quadratec dead pedal and while I haven't driven it yet, I can tell that this is going to be a great addition to my Gladiator. Although the install couldn't have been easier, getting the nut off under the dash was a bitch. I couldn't get under the dash enough to get any leverage on it and it was on tight! Finally that 20" ratchet extension that I bought years ago paid off. I knew it would come in handy some day. My only complaint is that it is unpainted aluminum so I had to spend some time spray painting it so it blends in.

Next up is to install the seat jackers. Was going to do it this afternoon but discovered I need an E-Torx socket and not the regular torx wrench I already have that worked on my JL.
