Well been a while since any updates.

Finally found a cheap set of springs, bonus they came with the Fox shocks that went on the JLU and a set of airlift bags I will eventually put in the JT. JLRD springs

Also decided to see if I could remove the hard top bolts without folding the seats down. (Car seats suck to take out and reinstall…) Turns out I can 😁

Got the JTRD front springs installed. Much improved ride. I always found the factory Max Tow springs too soft for my liking. Netted me a solid two inches in the front. I think I am right around 3.5” over stock height now with the 2” spacers, diesel springs and sag from the heavy bumper.

Well after the diesel springs and spacers an adjustable front track bar was needed. Initially I was going to order a Core4x4 bar as I love the one on my JLU and it maintain a flex joint at the upper mount like the stock bar.

That changed when I found a gently used JKS take off for half the new price. Time will tell if the lack of flex joint proves problematic. It’s got the same bushings I just ordered to upgrade the TJ so should be ok.

After getting the Rugcel winch installed, I finally had a chance to test out the JT. It did great on the shakedown, performing flawlessly. Definitely different wheeling the LWB JT when I am used to either the TJ or JLU. The diesel front springs pair perfectly with the max tow rears.

Next on the list is better shocks, the IRO cheapies just can’t control the rock with the RSI. Shortly after will be rear body side LCA skids. Oh and cutting out that first muffler…
